Fresh Catch, Locally Sourced
We’re committed to serving only the freshest seafood, sourced straight from the docks in Destin and neighboring counties. Our oysters are always freshly shucked from Bon Secour Fisheries in Alabama, with occasional supplies from Apalachicola, Florida. Our shrimp come from Bon Secour and, when available, our very own Choctawhatchee Bay.

Honestly I was upset. I guess it showed on my face and that's when the manager Lex either read my face or understood the frustration I was feeling. Her upbeat attitude and understanding took my experience from displeasure to complete … More satisfaction. She changed my perception 1000% She appoligized for the wait and made sure I knew they did not forget about me. She then took it a step further and completely blew away my frustration by giving the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. Lex truly made my visit. All of my food was fresh and hot. She thanked me for coming in and let me know to come back, I definitely will and next time will bring the whole family. Highly recommend. Thank you Lex for making my night and recognizing the problem then immediately fixing it AND then going above and beyond making me feel valued as a customer. I hope the owners know that what she brings to the table can't be taught, bought, or replaced. Her management style and customer service is key to repeat buissness. First, their hush puppies are FANTASTIC. Crunchy with great flavor. The Amber Jack was perfectly seasoned, maybe a grilled a little too long, but still had great flavor. The green beans are made in a bacon base and are fantastic and still a little snap to them. The potato salad is thick, hearty and pretty good. The gumbo was okay too, had pretty solid flavor and lots of different ingredients. If you get it, you’re gonna want to let it sit as it’s really hot (temp). I’m glad people suggested I try it. It is good.

I’ll put this fish shanty up against any restaurant in this county. Thank you, men and women and Owner for doing such an awesome job. Don’t forget to try their country collards when they’re in season. Their green beans are just as good. Even down to the hush puppies this place knows what they’re doing. This is a great restaurant. Definitely a favorite for best price/quality of fish in the area. Great southern sides, onion rings and hush puppies are really good. Very casual and friendly staff.

In order: fried fish, fries, hush puppies, fried okra. Plus sweet tea. The hush puppies were so delicious and crispy. All tasted really good and sweet tea not overly sweet.
Total with tip was nearly 30 so it added up fast. -
My family and I had a great experience here. The cashier was so welcoming and informative. The food was delicious and great service too. We will definitely be back when we visit Florida!

This is the first time I’ve visited the Fort Walton location. It’s very low frills, but the food was equally delicious to the one by the beach. The best part was there was a very short line when I usually have to wait quite a while at the … More busier location. We ended up getting grouper and crab claws, along with onion rings and okra. Everything was fresh and delicious. The grouper was mild and flaky, and the remolaude that came with it was delicious. This location even has a drive up window. It looks like you can just pull up and order and pick it up at the window, which is so convenient. One of the reasons we love this Pace is the prices are very reasonable for so near the beach.

Love their shrimp fried Tacos and fries combo. Been coming for a few weeks and can't get enough of it. I am still yet to taste more of their great food. I will do a following review as i taste other foods in their menu.
