Fresh Catch, Locally Sourced
We’re committed to serving only the freshest seafood, sourced straight from the docks in Destin and neighboring counties. Our oysters are always freshly shucked from Bon Secour Fisheries in Alabama, with occasional supplies from Apalachicola, Florida. Our shrimp come from Bon Secour and, when available, our very own Choctawhatchee Bay.

service, but today Amina was definitely "on her game!!" She went out her way to ask how I was doing and how my day was going. When she handed me my food, she took the time to let me know that utensils, napkins and sauces were in my bag and expressed that I have a good day and to hurry back! I always return for the food but service can't be beat as well. Kudos to Stewbys and Amina...job well done! -

I love the shanty vibe here! I had grilled flounder and it was perfectly cooked. The hushpuppies were the fluffiest inside and crispy on the outside... delish! The staff is super friendly. And the prices are very reasonable!

First, their hush puppies are FANTASTIC. Crunchy with great flavor. The Amber Jack was perfectly seasoned, maybe a grilled a little too long, but still had great flavor. The green beans are made in a bacon base and are fantastic and still a little snap to them. The potato salad is thick, hearty and pretty good. The gumbo was okay too, had pretty solid flavor and lots of different ingredients. If you get it, you’re gonna want to let it sit as it’s really hot (temp). I’m glad people suggested I try it. It is good.

The colossal shrimp are the size of the small shrimp at Goose Island in Chicago. Not bad, these are the biggest shrimp I’ve seen so far in Florida.

She changed my perception 1000% She appoligized for the wait and made sure I knew they did not forget about me. She then took it a step further and completely blew away my frustration by giving the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. Lex truly made my visit. All of my food was fresh and hot. She thanked me for coming in and let me know to come back, I definitely will and next time will bring the whole family. Highly recommend. Thank you Lex for making my night and recognizing the problem then immediately fixing it AND then going above and beyond making me feel valued as a customer. I hope the owners know that what she brings to the table can't be taught, bought, or replaced. Her management style and customer service is key to repeat buissness.
